This week we’re focusing on conceptual design strategies and tools for early development of a project.
Part 1 is a 45 minute lesson that looks at various tools and approaches useful for initial design studies. Lines, fills, zones, walls and massing slabs are used in various ways to sketch out a project to meet program or code requirements.
Part 2 is a 23 minute lesson shows how you can tabulate rooms and areas to compare against program requirements using either the Fill tool or the Zone tool.
Part 3 is a 41 minute lesson demonstrating several different modeling approaches you can use early in the design process.
