Week #16 – Roof Modeling and Documentation
16-1. Roof Basics

ArchiCAD Training (Best Practices Lesson 16-1)

In this ArchiCAD training we start with the basics of roof modeling, using three lessons borrowed from the QuickStart Course. I’m placing a copy of each video here with a brief description; for more detailed commentary and instructions, please refer to the individual QuickStart Course pages – you may jump to them by clicking the lesson title below.

If you are an experienced ArchiCAD user, you may choose to skip these videos, however I recommend that you watch them to make sure your basic mechanics are sound.

If you are working with ArchiCAD 15, it is still a good idea to watch this video since there are many similarities, and I share some valuable tips in the video as well as on the QuickStart Course lesson page that will be helpful to you.

      Matt –
Sometimes issues like this are caused by your browser cache (storage) getting filled up. Try emptying your browser cache, or using a different browser, or right-clicking the DOWNLOAD link to download the file then playing locally off your hard drive.

    Hi Eric,

How can I download the videos? I’ve been away too long and I want to download the videos from week#14-4 to present, so that I can watch it at my free time. But all I can see is “about;blank”.

I can watch it online but have no time, so I wish to download it. Please help. Thank you very much
